If you or your company/organization are interested in working with MaD by means of an association, sponsorship, or specific project funding etc. then please contact us.
The Company: Google’s innovative search technologies connect millions of people around the world with information every day. One of the early Google.org projects was to create the Google Grants program, which gives free advertising to selected non-profits. To date, Google Grants has donated $33M in advertising to more than 850 non-profit organizations in 10 countries.
The Association: MaD is a Google Grants recipient, receiving free advertising through Google Adwords. This partnership allows MaD to promote our organization and recruit new volunteers.
The Company: NVIDIA is the world leader in visual computing technologies and the inventor of the GPU, which generates interactive graphics on workstations, desktops, notebooks, and mobile devices.
The Association: MaD was awarded a $50,000 NVIDIA High Impact Grant in 2010, chosen from over sixty organizations. The grant will be used to transform the lives of all 1,048 residents in the village of Prolit in Cambodia, by installing UNICEF water pumps, distributing effective water filters, and building improved sanitation units using compost toilets.
The Organisation: Ecodana is a recently founded social enterprise which aims to raise funds for innovative, sustainable grassroots projects that benefit disadvantaged communities in the developing world. Selected organisations post projects on their website and the public are then invited to help transform them into reality by donating to the projects. Once the projects are funded, the donors get to keep up to date with the project’s progress at it unfolds.
The Association: MaD has posted two projects on Ecodana’s website: one to build a compost toilet in Prolit village and another to set up a nursery of Moringa Oleifera trees on our organic farm. Both projects were funded and you can read updates on how the projects unfolded on their website. We plan to post more projects on their website in the future.
